The story of Beverly. 1971.

Here’s the story of Beverly, the 83 year old woman who found out, through some sort of miracle of “god”, that she was pregnant. Her husband had recently passed, so this was a shocking thing to learn, but she was utterly excited, because his legacy would live on through their new child. Willard had always wanted children, especially a son of his own, but when he suddenly became ill with what doctors thought was a new strain of brain cancer, the reality hit him hard that he would never have children with his loving wife.

Willard passed on at 2:30 am on a cold Wednesday morning, 1971. Not even a week later, Beverly found out she was mysteriously pregnant. Doctors were shocked to learn this, because women of Beverly’s age rarely gave birth. But she was different. What she was carrying in her guts was… different…

It caused her to become deathly ill, almost emaciated. Her skin felt like wet velvet, and she leaked from every orifice. Doctors were unsure of what was growing inside of her, but it was slowly killing Beverly, from the inside out.

Beverly passed away at 5:32 pm on a Friday afternoon in her home, by herself, with her massive stomach that had grown so large, that she had confined herself to her home, for fear of being stared at, or labeled the town freakshow.

May Beverly, her stomach, & Willard RIP.

Lacy, the girl with 6 boobs.

Ever just see really gross and gigantic, inhuman sized boobs on a girl? like, just 2 of them? No? Well, now you can see 6! Lacy is hiding her face behind a black mask because she's real ashamed of her deformity. Every fancy, suave Los Angeles plastic surgeon gave her the cold shoulder. They didn't even want to attempt to perform a reconstructive surgery on her chest. It was too risky. Death was almost a sure thing. So now, Lacy is a topless dancer at some outback, desert strip club outside of Vegas. She has her clientele, but they're mostly fucking weirdo fetish types. On the brighter side, she makes money from her somewhat disturbing set of breasts.

Hope you enjoy Lacy's company

OFWGKTA piece.

My art piece, done personally for Hodgy Beats of Odd Future / Mellowhype. We connected through the power of Twitter and the internet, and he loved my art. After chatting back and forth, I decided to just roll with something fresh and new. so I drew him something for his house.

The Burning. 1981. CROPSY

The Burning. 1981 - "It tells the story of a cruel, alcoholic caretaker at a summer camp (nicknamed Cropsy, after the huge garden shears he carries) who falls victim to a prank that went out of control and leaves him horribly burned and disfigured. Following his release from hospital, he returns to his old stomping ground and begins a murder spree."

This is one of my favorite 80's slashers, (among like, a thousand others) It's packed full of eye gore candy, melted flesh, nipples, severed fingers, and some of Savini's best work in make up and disfigurement. It sort of has a Friday The 13th feel to it, so if you haven't seen this, get the fuck out of your wet cave basement and rent this, or download it.

This painting is dedicated to the melted face of Cropsy, and Tom Savini for making him beautiful. Thank you for raping my eyes.

White Trash Dog Dinner

One of the pieces that's left over from the Wolf Tomb art show. The white trash dad who steals pet's from neighborhood yards and slaughters them to provide food for his white trash family back at home.

Not sure why he's farting gold stars, but it's funny to me.

A preview from Pause and Claws.

In about a month, I will be having my first solo art exhibit. This is gonna be exciting for me, because most of the pieces are of animals, and animals are rad, and these animals are really cool because they do stuff like shoot lasers out of their eyes, or run around with green spider legs. Gonna be fun. Scroll down on here to see the poster for the show. Opens May 6th @ Sky City

Here's a previews of one of the pieces.

Cenobites!

I've always been a huge fan of the Hellraiser movies, and most stuff that Clive Barker does. Of course everyone is terrified of Pinhead, but I always had this fear of "butterball" the really creepy, morbidly obese Cenobite with multiple chins and a giant hole in his stomach. I decided to take him out of his leather tights that were squeezing his hairy, overflowing protoplasm limbs, and paint him having a day off of work. Enjoying a blunt (cause cenobites smoke) and an ice cold beer. This guy gave me nightmares as a child. There's something so fucking creepy about him. I mean, of course the guy with no eyes and just a ravaged mouth is scary too, and the girl with wires piercing her face, but nothing compares to Butterball!

This is for the April 9th art show at my House, aka, the Wolf Tomb. Tons of insane artists are showing inside my house, basically we're clearing out my whole studio for the day, and filling the walls with local talent and shit. Should be a great time.

And here's the ultra creepy guy wearing John Lennon glasses. AH!

Pinhead! Steal this and Tumblr it.

My first skatedeck painting

My friend David asked me to add some art to his Santa Cruz deck, which of course, I said FUCK YEA! I've always wanted to do some deck designs, and this was sort of an introduction into that. It's something I'm definitely going to pursue. It was a blast sort of adding my own idea into the famous screaming hand logo. I went in and made the teeth sharp. and added some basic tentacles, and of course, a gnarly wolf snout with a slimey tongue dripping out. David's gonna scare all the kids around town now!

A preview from "Pause and Claws

I've been keeping most of the work I'm doing for my solo show under wraps (as to not ruin the fun) besides a few random previews HERE, So check this one out.
How fucking scary would it be if mosquito's somehow got exposed to chemicals because they sucked on The Toxic Avenger's shoulder a little bit or something, causing them to become extremley large, and instead of just wanting to feed on blood, they wanted BRAINS. A BRAINSKEETER.

Body snatchers

New series of smaller paintings I'm workin on when I get a chance from commissions.
These little mini creeps crawl into your body (probably through the anus) and take possesion of it, using it as a vessel to ride in while they conduct evil across the land.

Eat a bowl of f**k! - I am here to PARTY!

"Blessed be the sinners, for the day of atonement is at hand."
- Angela

Night of The Demons is honestly one of those movies that you can watch a few times, take a break from, then come back to a few days later and it's awesome all over again. Those of you who have never seen this movie and are into horror,
you NEED to check it out.
A remake of it is in the works, which I doubt will come anywhere close to how gnarly the original was. Shannon Elizabeth? Come on...
Enough about that.
Among the massive amount of projects I have underway, I was able find time to paint this messy Demon. Nothing serious, just a fun painting.

Here's the piece I did inspired by the movie:

"Angela's party"

This painting is for sale. If you're interested in purchasing this, please head over to http://aaroncrawford.bigcartel.com/product/angelas-party and you place your order there.

Fever Swamp!

"There's something horrible happening in Fever Swamp. Something really horrible. It started with the strange howling at night. Then there was the rabbit, torn to shreds. Everyone thinks Grady's new dog is responsible. After all, he looks just like a wolf. And he seems a little on the wild side. But Grady knows his dog is just a regular dog. And most dogs don't howl at the moon. Or disappear at midnight. or change into terrifying creatures when the moon is full.

Or do they?"

Inspired:

I decided to release the second painting in the "Goosebumps" series I am doing, to pay homage to the classic horror novels I read growing up. These books inspired me so much, I remember reading them under the covers late at night with a flashlight, when I was supposed to be going to sleep. (cliche', I know) & sitting in class sketching the covers. It even inspired me to write a short horror story when I was 9 that I entered in a school competition, and it turned out to win 1st place. Weird.

I will be releasing a total of 10 paintings based off of my favorite stories.
Here's the first one:

The series will available for purchase. If you're interested,
You can email me for pricing at aaroncrawfordart@gmail.com

Check back for another update SOON!
